A burglary in central Fresno led police Thursday to stolen guns, drugs and cash, and led to the arrest of two adults and a 16-year-old suspect.
Officers responded to a burglary near Fairmont and Marks avenues around 11 a.m. Thursday. Various electronic devices and televisions were stolen during the burglary, police said.
A witness followed the suspects to an apartment complex on the 4900 block of North Fairmont Avenue, police said.
Detectives arrived and saw many people walking in and out of an apartment. The officers detained several subjects, including one who was on probation and subject to being searched.
Officers searched the apartment and found some of the stolen property, along with several stolen handguns, a large quantity of marijuana packaged for sale, cocaine and $4,000 cash, police said.
Justin Lewis, 32, Javyer Lewis, 32, and a 16-year-old were all arrested and charged with multiple felonies. The 16-year-old had been shot in this same area a few months earlier, police said.
