Fresno County sheriff’s narcotics detectives and other officers arrested three people and seized an estimated 1,400 marijuana plants and 19 firearms this week in Squaw Valley.
Two properties, one in the 37000 block of Shadybrook Lane and one in the 37000 block of Sand Creek Road, were searched with warrants, according to sheriff’s spokesman Tony Botti.
Arrested were Arturo Vasquez, 47, of Cutler; Tobi Main, 56, of Squaw Valley; and Mike Lopez, 45, of Sequoia Valley.
Fresno County bans cannabis cultivation. The ban also applies to those who have medical marijuana cards.
