A 32-year-old man was arrested Tuesday morning after officers served a search warrant and found nearly 150 marijuana plants inside his residence, Visalia police said.
Officers from the narcotics and special enforcement units served a search warrant around 8:40 a.m. on a residence on the 2600 block of South Chinowth Street, just east of Linwood Street, Sgt. Damon Maurice said. Officers found 149 marijuana plants in various stages of maturity, 17 grams of processed concentrated honey oil and $3,000 in cash.
Justin Ellis, 32, was arrested and booked into the Tulare County Jail for multiple charges including the suspected cultivation and possession of marijuana for sale, manufacture of honey oil by chemical extraction and maintaining a place for use or sales of narcotics.
