Richard Ramos, 51, of Visalia, was sentenced to 98 years to life in prison for sex crimes involving children, the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office said Monday.
In October, Ramos was convicted of two counts of sexual penetration of a child under 10 and five counts of lewd and lascivious act on a child under 14.
The jury found Ramos had substantial sexual conduct with a child under 14 and the crimes involved multiple victims. They occurred between 2004 and 2010 in Visalia and Tulare against two female victims under 13.
Ramos must register as a sex offender for life and pay restitution to the victims, as well as court fines and fees.
