Visalia police investigate murder

Visalia police are investigating a homicide which took place Thursday evening at Houston Avenue and Highland Street. Police went to the area to investigate an assault with a deadly weapon and found a man who had been shot. The victim died at the scene. An unknown number of suspects ran from the area. Anyone with information about the slaying is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.
