Two teenagers are in custody after they shot and killed a 16-year-old boy in Tulare, police said.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Oakland Avenue for a possible gunshot victim just before 10 p.m. Friday. They found the boy, Luis Arenas of Tulare, with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
During the investigation, two suspects, 18-year-old Jesus Navarro and a 17-year-old boy, were identified and taken into custody, police say.
