A 74-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly cultivating 327 marijuana plants inside and outside of her central Fresno home, while her son was arrested on suspicion he sold the drugs for his mother, police said.
Fresno police Sgt. Mark Hudson said that Sotsay Sihachack and her son Thepsourin Sihachack, 40, were taken into custody after detectives and officers executed a search warrant of a home in the 2900 block of East Hammond Avenue.
Hudson said the mother admitted to owning the marijuana found in the backyard and an indoor growing structure. Her son admitted to selling the drugs for his mother, Hudson added.
Both were booked into Fresno County Jail, and the marijuana was destroyed.
