Three Fresno residents were indicted Thursday on charges of methamphetamine trafficking, U.S. Attorney Benjamin B. Wagner announced.
Eduardo Fernandez, 35, Miguel Medina, 62, and Alexis Antonio Alvarez Guzman, 19, were charged with possession and conspiracy to distribute after agents seized 16 pounds of methamphetamine from Guzman’s residence. According to court documents, Fernandez worked with Medina’s assistance to receive the drug shipment from Mexico.
If convicted, Fernandez could face life in prison and a $30 million fine. Medina and Guzman could face 20 years in prison for each count, and a $1 million fine.
