Fresno police are investigating a central Fresno shooting that happened about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday near Saginaw and Effie avenues.
Officers responded to shots fired calls in the area, but the suspect or suspects were gone, as well as the victim, a man whose age and identity were not released. Witness at the scene were uncooperative.
The man was driven to St. Agnes Medical Center about an hour later for a non-lethal injury. Police said the man was uncooperative. It is not known if the shooting was gang-related.
