Fresno County sheriff’s deputies wrapped up a marijuana eradication operation in Squaw Valley this week. The final count: more than 4,700 plants destroyed, eight guns and 20 pounds of processed weed seized, and two men arrested.
Spokesman Tony Botti identified the men as Robert Zoellner, 53, and Angel Benitez, 55. They were booked on charges of felony cultivation.
Botti said deputies went to 20 locations and found growing operations at 10 locations.
