One woman died in a crash that occurred just before 6 p.m. Tuesday south of Kingsburg, the CHP said.
Hanford CHP officer Adam Barresi said the crash happened on Sixth Avenue just south of Barstow Avenue.
Maria Jesus Gonzalez-Vasquez, 62, of Selma, was driving her SUV about 45 miles per hour southbound on Sixth with three passengers when a car driven by Ruben Orona, 47, of Sanger, pulled out in front of her from a nearby parking lot, Barresi said. The SUV hit the car and rolled several times.
Barresi said the front-right passenger of the SUV was ejected and suffered fatal injuries. Her identity was withheld pending notification of her family.

Gonzalez-Vasquez and the other two SUV occupants, who were not identified, suffered minor injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital, Barresi said. Orona did not appear to be hurt and was not taken to the hospital.
Barresi said that drugs and alcohol were not a factor in this crash.
