Three men were arrested Thursday in Hanford after police investigated a suspicious vehicle located at the Fraternal Hall,in the 1000 block of North 10th Avenue.
Officers located a stripped 1998 Acura that had been reported stolen several hours before, and began searching for possible suspects.
Officers went to the residence of 20-year-old Zachary Gonzalez, located at the 1000 block of North White Street, to investigate a potential probation compliance check.
At the residence, officers detained five males, including Gonzalez, who were attempting to leave in another vehicle. A search of Gonzalez’s property revealed several stolen vehicle items.

Zachary Gonzalez, along with his older brother Brian Gonzalez, 22, and Tiago Arruda, 24, were arrested on suspicion of operating a chop shop and possessing stolen property. Arruda was also charged with grand theft auto as police believe he was the suspect who had stolen the vehicle before delivering it to the chop shop.
The three suspects were booked into the Kings Coutny Jail.
