A man was stabbed in the throat around 9 p.m. Tuesday at a home on the 3500 block of North Van Ness Boulevard in Fresno, police said.
Fresno police Lt. Phil Cooley said the middle-aged man was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.
Witnesses told police the man was stabbed at Veterans Affairs Medical Center, but Cooley said police are investigating the stabbing as a possible domestic violence crime.
Two women were home at the time of stabbing, and both were questioned by police. Cooley said the two women told officers “conflicting stories.”
