A 29-year-old Tulare man was found guilty Wednesday by a jury of first-degree residential burglary, the District Attorney’s Office said.
Kelly Vaughan faces up to six years in prison when he is sentenced on April 9.
Late in the evening of Dec. 23, 2014, two Tulare residents awoke to a noise in their living room, where they found Vaughan attempting to remove a television from above the fireplace. Vaughan ran out the back door but was caught by police a short distance away. Some stolen items were found in the area where he was arrested.
