A stolen Honda Rancher quad was recovered and three alleged trespassers were arrested shortly after midnight Saturday in a vacant home in the 100 block of West Polk Street in Coalinga, police said.
Officers found transients Kara Wilk, 26, Mark Holloway, 39, and Joshua Wilson, 28, all of Coalinga, inside the house. Wilson, who was hiding in the home’s attic with Holloway when police arrived, allegedly attempted to flee through a vent. He was arrested after being shocked with a Taser, officials said.
Officers found methamphetamine and burglary tools inside the house. A 2015 Honda Rancher ATV was parked in the backyard. The Honda had been reported stolen just hours earlier by a resident of Five Points in Fresno County.
Both Holloway and Wilson were on probation. Wilk, Holloway, and Wilson were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy, trespassing, vandalism, possession of a controlled substance, possession of burglary tools, and possession of a stolen vehicle.
