One man was arrested Wednesday in Fresno after police said he fired at three people in a vehicle because he had a prior disagreement with them.
Nobody was injured, but the car was struck during the shooting near Millbrook and Shields avenues in east-central Fresno, police said.
Police found the suspect, Manjot Singh, at his auto smog business and also found a gun believed to be used during the shooting.
They also found additional weapons, ammunition and five bottles of promethazine cough syrup, which is an increasingly popular street drug with a value of $300-$600 per bottle, police said.
Singh admitted to the crimes and said the disagreement was over the sale of promethazine, police said.
He was booked in the Fresno County Jail on assault with a deadly weapon and weapons charges, police said.
