A Fresno gang member was convicted on Friday of murdering one man and shooting another one in May 2013, the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Jarrod Spencer-Hayes was arrested on May 25, 2013 for shooting Aaron Foster III, 21, and Deonte Dillingham in a southwest Fresno parking lot. Foster died from his injuries.
In a Monday hearing, Spencer-Hayes was also found guilty of a special circumstance that the murder and shooting were committed by a gang member. He will faces life without the possibility of parole at his sentencing hearing on April 1.
