Fresno police arrested a Bulldog gang member suspected in a drive-by shooting and vandalizing 25 vehicles with graffiti.
Mikkey Santos, 18, was arrested Thursday after officers served a search warrant at his home on the 900 block of North Peach Avenue. Police found a .22-caliber rifle and several items marked with the phrase, “Thefr,” the same tag that was sprayed on the vandalized vehicles.
Police said Santos is believed to be the suspect in two separate incidents: A Sept. 11 vandalism spree in southeast Fresno of 25 cars that caused more than $50,000 in damages and a Nov. 15 drive-by shooting near Helm and Hammond avenues.
Santos was booked into Fresno County Jail on vandalism and multiple gun-related charges.
