Visalia police arrested a juvenile late Thursday night suspected in a string of recent store robberies.
Police arrived at the O’Reilly Auto Parts store on the 1300 block of North Ben Maddox Way about 11:30 p.m. in response to a burglar alarm. When they arrived, officers found the store’s front window shattered. They then responded to another call shortly after concerning an attempted burglary at Pick N Go Market a couple blocks away.
Officers arrested a 17-year-old boy outside the market after he tried to run away. The juvenile, whose identity was not disclosed because he is a minor, was also a suspect in the burglary of the Texaco Market on East Houston Avenue on Jan. 31, police said.
The minor was booked into Tulare County Juvenile Hall on suspicion of burglary.
