An 18-year-old man was shot at a central Fresno home about 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Fresno police spokesman Lt. Joe Gomez said the man, who was not named, was shot in the upper right thigh and his wound is not life-threatening. Police believe the shooting occurred outside a home on the 3300 block of West Holland Avenue.
Gomez said the home did not belong to the victim. Gomez said the man was in the front yard when a white sedan pulled up, occupied by three black males, including one with dreadlocks who allegedly shot the victim.
The injured man was dropped off at Community Regional Medical Center about 2:15 p.m. by a woman driving a black vehicle, described as either a Honda or Acura.
Police are still investigating and looking for suspects. It was not known Wednesday afternoon whether the shooting was gang-related. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.
