A 61-year-old Clovis woman was arrested Thursday night after allegedly attacking her husband with a machete.
Fyrne Williams is facing charges of first degree attempted murder, Clovis police said Friday. She was booked at Fresno County Jail early Friday, where she’s being held in lieu of posting $500,000 bail.
Police say they found Williams near the 800 block of West Pico Avenue around 10:45 p.m. after receiving reports from neighbors that she was chasing her husband around a parking lot with a large machete.
Williams threw the weapon after police arrived. Police say she told them she was “tired” of dealing with her husband of 10 years.

The man, who was found with slashes on his face, was rushed to Clovis Community Medical Center. Police officials didn’t know his condition or if he’d been released.
