A woman was killed on Highway 180 when the car she was driving crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a pickup truck Monday morning, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash occurred about 11 a.m. on the highway, east of Fowler Avenue. CHP Sgt. Joseph Bianchi said investigators had no information about why the woman’s Honda sedan went across the grass median and was hit broadside by the white pickup, which had U.S. government license plates.
The identity of the Honda driver was withheld pending notification of family. The pickup driver was not injured. No other details were immediately available.
