Fresno police have arrested a 22-year-old Fresno man in connection with a shooting that took place Tuesday on a FAX bus in central Fresno.
Collin Stowers was found by police two blocks north of the shooting scene at Blackstone and Clinton avenues. Police said Stowers will probably be charged with battery and felony gang enhancement.
Lt. Joe Gomez said that at about 11:40 a.m. police responded to the area to investigate a report of three men fighting on a FAX bus. Police said Stowers and another suspect attacked a man in the back of the bus when the victim pulled out a handgun and fired one shot, possibly striking the second suspect. But Gomez said it that was not confirmed as police have not found the second suspect or the shooter.
Police said the other two men are described as wearing dark clothing and in their late teens or early 20s. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-7867.
