A suspect in an armed robbery of a Caruthers Jewelry store in June turned himself in to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office on Monday.
Sheriff’s spokesman Tony Botti said Crescenciano Moreno felt “pressured” after his name and photo were made public. Moreno contacted his attorney and made arrangements to turn himself in to property crime detectives.
Moreno, 34, and Jorge Albert Aquino, 35, allegedly stole more than $10,000 from Joyeria Krystal after they tied up a female employee and held her at gunpoint.
Aquino was arrested and booked into jail on July 6 after his vehicle was stopped and searched.
