A Fresno man was arrested Monday night for allegedly slashing the face of his ex-wife’s boyfriend in southeast Fresno, Fresno police said.
The 28-year-old victim, who wasn’t identified, was picking up his girlfriend at her home in the 3400 block of East Washington Avenue at 9:36 p.m.
The victim said he arrived at his girlfriend’s home and was confronted by the suspect, identified as Alberto Garcia. The victim was still seated in his car when he was slashed across his face with a knife.
Garcia then went inside the Washington Avenue home. Police surrounded the home and were forced to call him out.
The victim’s injuries were not serious, police said.
