A Fresno man is held in Marin County Jail on $100,000 bail after he was booked on pimping charges.
The Marin Independent Journal identified him as James Arness Williamson, 30. He is scheduled for a court appearance on July 6. The arrest followed an investigation by San Rafael Police. Police reportedly set up a meeting with a suspected prostitute on an internet site. The woman, a 29-year-old Clovis resident, said she gave money a and food to a man she identified as Williamson, the newspaper reported. Williamson was arrested on a warrant in Fresno and booked into the Marin jail. He was also booked on charges of cocaine possession.
