Two convicted felons were booked into Fresno County Jail Tuesday night after a loaded, sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun was found in their car, Fresno police reported.
The arrest followed a report that a man was threatening family members with a firearm in southeast Fresno. Officers stopped a car matching the description of the suspect's vehicle at South Maple and East Church avenues. Inside were Rosendo Garcia, 46, and Jose Armando Guerra, 40. Garcia was wanted on a felony domestic violence warrant.
A search of the car uncovered the shotgun.
