A man was in critical condition Monday night after getting stabbed in southeast Fresno in what police said was an argument over money and possibly drugs.
The man was stabbed in the torso in the backyard of a home near the corner of East McKenzie Avenue and North Glenn Avenue around 8 p.m. He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center and was in critical condition, police said.
A male suspect fled the scene. He was described by a witness as possibly being in his 40s, police said.
Police are still looking for the suspect.
