Four people are in jail and another is in the hospital with stab wounds after after an apparent gang fight early Sunday morning in Lemoore.
Just after 2 a.m., Lemoore police officers were called out to the 100 block of Skaggs Street and found a disturbance in the area. The police said an officer heard one person yell out “you wanna get stabbed” before several people got into a fight. The officers quickly set up a search perimeter in the area after the suspects fled, leaving one injured.
A 26-year-old, identified by police as a gang member, suffered lacerations to his face and two puncture wounds to his torso. He was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment, the police said.
A search warrant was served by the Kings County Gang Task Force at a home on the same block and four people, including a minor, were arrested. The police said the four suspects are believed to be Bulldog gang members from Coalinga. The juvenile was taken to the Kings County Juvenile Center without bail. The other three suspects have a bail of $575,000.
