A teacher at Porterville High School was arrested Tuesday after six of his former students came forward, alleging inappropriate relationships or sexual conduct occurred, the Porterville Police Department said.
Bradley Alan Collins, 52, was arrested on suspicion of five counts of annoying or molesting a child under 18, as well as one count of sexual battery, police said. He had been a teacher at Porterville High School for over 20 years.
The victims came forward after Collins was arrested in July for allegedly having sex with an Orange County woman who was underage at the time. Police said Collins was eventually released and the case forwarded to Orange County, where it is currently pending a file with the District Attorney’s Office.
Anyone with information about the investigation or possible victims is being asked to call Detective Bray at 559-782-7411.
