Clovis West High opened pursuit of its fourth consecutive Central Section Division I volleyball final berth with a 25-14, 25-17, 25-19 quarterfinal sweep of Bullard on Wednesday.
Danielle Lauber led the way for the top-seeded Golden Eagles with nine kills. Lauren Meador and Ashley Grootendorst each added seven kills as Clovis West advances to face No. 4 Bakersfield on Tuesday.
The No. 8 Knights received 16 assists, seven kills and 14 digs from Pookie Gonzalez, and seven kills and 11 digs from Skyler Thomas.
Centennial 3, Central 0: The No. 2 Golden Hawks swept 26-24, 25-12, 25-19 despite 12 kills for the No. 7 Grizzlies' Becca Quise. DIVISION II

Madera 3, El Diamante 2: Kelsee Montagana had 16 kills and 19 digs, Javette Drew 28 digs and Olivia Guillen 51 assists and 14 digs as the top-seeded Coyotes survived a major scare in defeating the No. 8 Miners 26-24, 25-20, 23-25, 14-25, 15-12.
Madera will face No. 5 Exeter.
Exeter 3, Lemoore 1: Samantha Sawyer had 24 assists, seven kills and nine digs in a 25-21, 25-23, 15-25, 25-20 victory over the No. 4 Tigers.
Clovis North 3, Tulare 0: Rebecca Waller had 15 kills, Cayli McKinney 12 digs and Haley Barnes 10 digs and 21 assists as the second-seeded Broncos beat the No. 7 Redskins 25-13, 25-8, 25-12. Next for Clovis North is a semifinal with No. 3 Yosemite.
Yosemite 3, Edison 1: The Badgers shook off a first-set loss as Dahlia Lopez had 10 kills and eight blocks and Riley Cooks 14 digs, 29 assists and eight blocks in a 22-25, 25-18, 25-13, 26-24 win over the sixth-seeded and defending division champion Tigers. DIVISION IV
Chowchilla 3, Strathmore 0: The third-seeded Redskins swept aside the No. 6 Spartans 25-15, 25-5, 25-10 as Morgan Miller had 11 kills, six aces, nine digs and two blocks and Shelby Seals 38 assists.
In the semifinals, Chowchilla will face No. 2 Bakersfield Christian or No. 7 McFarland.
Central Valley Christian 3, Immanuel 0: Ashley Vander Tuig had 13 kills at a .632 clip to go with five digs, two aces and four blocks in the top-seeded Cavaliers' 25-8, 25-14, 25-16 victory over the No. 9 Eagles.
Alexa Knevelbaard had 10 kills and seven digs for CVC, which awaits No. 4 Kingsburg or No. 5 Woodlake. DIVISION III
Madera South 3, Delano 0: Sarah Thomas' 34 assists and 10 digs and Justine Williams' 17 kills and six blocks helped power the No. 4 Stallions to a 25-9, 25-21, 25-13 sweep of the fifth-seeded Tigers.
Madera South's likely award is a quarterfinal against top-seeded Independence, which was playing No. 8 Arvin in its opener.

Kingsburg 16, Hoover 12: James Howison scored a match-high five goals as the seventh-seeded Vikings held off the No. 10 Patriots.
Next for Kingsburg is second-seeded Lemoore in a quarterfinal.
Fresno High 12, Reedley 8: The eighth-seeded Warriors get No. 1 and defending champion Clovis North in the next round after beating the ninth-seeded Pirates. DIVISION III
Sanger 13, Dinuba 3: The third-seeded Apaches, led by Aidan Feigel's six goals, cruised past the sixth-seeded Emperors and into a semifinal matchup with No. 2 Tulare.

Hanford 9, Exeter 8: The No. 8 Bullpups used a balanced attack in which four players scored twice to hold off the No. 9 Monarchs, with the match in doubt until a potential game-tying shot by Exeter went off the bar at the buzzer.
Hanford faces No. 1 Clovis North.
Kingsburg 13, Hoover 8: Bre Abell's five goals lifted the fifth-seeded Vikings to the win over the No. 4 Patriots and into a semifinal with top-seeded and 2010 finalist Mt. Whitney. Football
Madera South 55, McLane 0: Donald Caballero score three touchdowns – two running and the other on an interception return – as the Stallions defeated the Highlanders to complete a 9-1 regular season and their first outright North Yosemite League title at 5-0.
Madera South had gone 6-36 in the program's first four seasons.
