Nick McKee scored two goals and assisted on another to lead the Fresno Monsters to a 5-2 Western State Hockey League victory over the host Valencia Flyers on Sunday.
McKee scored the Monsters' second and fifth goals. His assist, along with Don Coyle, on Marc Haaf's goal in the second period provided Fresno with the winning margin. Zach Alvarez and Kyle Godfrey also scored for the Monsters.
Fresno (14-1) has a WSHL-leading 28 points.

The Fresno State women's tennis team completed play at the Arizona State Thunderbird Invitational on Sunday with consolation victories from Melissa McQueen, Marianne Jodoin and the duo as a doubles team.
McQueen beat Arizona State's Nicole Smith 6-7 (4), 6-0, , and Jodoin topped the Sun Devils' Michelle Brycki 6-4, 6-4. McQueen and Jodoin then teamed to defeat San Diego's Anna Depenau and Maja Sujica 8-6.
Fresno team captures tennis crown
Fresno Tennis Club rolled to the 3.5 Division title at the World TeamTennis Rec League National Finals on Sunday in Indian Wells.
Fresno went 5-0 in the round-robin tournament, finishing ahead of Team Lights Out from Greenville, S.C., which went 4-1.
Fresno Tennis Club members are: captain Dave Colby of Kingsburg, Clovis' Pat Pope, and Fresno's Ben Kuo, Jeff Klippert and Marion Elder.
