Erica Villa scored off an assist from Natalie Chaney in the 45th minute, but it was too little, too late for Fresno Pacific (2-6, 6-7). Christine Adams scored twice for Westmont (5-3, 10-5).

Taylor Risley scored 12 goals to power the Fresno City College women's water polo team to a 21-9 Big 8 Conference win over Sacramento City on Wednesday.
The Rams (5-3 in conference play) also received three goals from Paige Russell and eight saves from goalie Lauren Rocha.
Clovis West sophomore climbs to No. 1 in USTA U-16 singles
Fresno's Billy Griffith, a sophomore at Clovis West, is the top-ranked player in singles and combined among 16-and-under boys in Northern California by the United States Tennis Association.
Griffith has 4,603 points in singles and 5,025 in combined, ahead of Tracy's Logan Staggs by more than 200 points in both divisions.
Also ranked are Exeter's Andrew Gong (34th in singles, 37th in combined) and Clovis' Wyatt Kershaw (54th in singles, 60th in combined).
