Jeff Brown and Seth Moranda of Central Section Division I champion Buchanan High were named to the All-State baseball team by Cal-Hi Sports.
Brown, The Bee's Player of the Year, caught all but two innings for a team that was No. 1 in the state and No. 1 in the nation by ESPN RISE. The senior also was the Bears' leading hitter at .430 with 40 RBIs.
Moranda, who last week signed with the Atlanta Braves, was 33-6 in his prep career, including 12-1 last season as a senior with a 1.18 ERA.
Other first-team selections from the section were Jordan Brink of Central and Blayne Ontiveros of D-II champion Frontier. Ontiveros was The Bakersfield Californian's Player of the Year.

Brink was a four-year starter with a .417 career batting average, including .434 as a senior. He also was 6-2 with a 2.85 ERA and 78 strikeouts in 512/3 innings.
Second-team picks from the section were: infielders Chris Mariscal (Clovis North) and Shota Runge (Buchanan), and pitcher Grant Watson (Centennial).
Third-team selections (seniors from large schools only): pitchers Jimmy Jurado (Clovis), James Lopez (Mt. Whitney) and Cole Hallum (Centennial) and multipurpose picks Gabe Perez (Central) and Justin Martinez (Centennial).
Pitcher Devin White (Fresno) and multipurpose selection Michael Hostetler (Hanford West) were named to the All-Medium Schools team.
Making the All-Small Schools team were: outfielders Kevin Magill (Fowler) and Caleb Paboojian (Selma), and multipurpose pick Casey Bloomquist (Bakersfield Christian).
First-team underclass selections were: pitcher Dominic Topoozian (Buchanan, junior), infielder Brody Russell (Centennial, junior), outfielder Isaiah Yates (Clovis East, junior) and multipurpose Tyler Ferguson (Clovis West, junior).
Second-team underclass picks were: outfielders Anthony Hawkins (Fresno, junior), infielder Kyle Nixon (Frontier, junior) and multipurpose Casey Bloomquist (Bakersfield Christian, junior).
