He’s a cattle dog/shepherd blend with a happy smile and quirky, upright ears. His name is Titus and he’s a particular favorite of staff at Miss Winkles. He’s a happy boy with some good manners thrown in like a cherry on top. He’s about 5 years old and he seems to have a good base with house training, knows “sit,” and “come,” too! Titus’ favorite part of the day is going for his walks, where he has shown off some very good leash manners.
What’s Titus’ favorite game? It’s fetch! This medium-sized dog can run down a ball or his favorite stuffed animal toy with absolute joy over and over and keeps bringing it back for more!
Titus would do very well with a family, as he is a medium-energy level dog, with an angelic-like patience (oh, yes, he’s been dressed up in hats a few times) and he loves people. While he’s not picky about his human friends, he can be a little more picky about his dog friends and would prefer to take up all the attention in his home. Most of Titus’ focus is centered on getting some snuggles from staff and guests.
Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at 85 Temperance Ave. just south of Sierra Avenue. All adoptable pets have been spayed or neutered, are current on their vaccinations and microchipped.
