Kaplan College has changed its name to Brightwood College, and a rebranding and open house was held to honor the switch on Feb. 26 at its Clovis campus.
The school at 44 Shaw Ave. near Minnewawa Avenue was acquired by Birmingham, Alabama-based Education Corporation of America and underwent its rebranding this year.
“The Brightwood College name represents a cornerstone for opportunity and growth for our students and the entire company,” said campus president Noha Elbaz in a news release. “We are delighted to host an open house for the business community to showcase the new possibilities created by the close alignment of Brightwood programs and those offered at ECA’s Virginia College, which currently has 27 locations across the United States.”
Brightwood College offers program in allied health fields, including dental and medical assisting. A criminal justice associate of arts degree program is also offered, along with professional and continuing education courses for health care workers.
