4 displaced by fire at Clovis apartment

Fire displaced a family of four at a residence in Clovis Monday afternoon, the fire department reported.

The blaze erupted about 1 p.m. in two trees outside the structure at 295 W. Holland Ave. and both of the trees were soon fully engulfed.

Fire investigators were trying to determine whether the blaze was caused by arson.

The Red Cross was assisting the family and damage was estimated to be about $10,000.
