A stolen car used in a Clovis bank robbery Monday was recovered this afternoon, police said.
California Highway Patrol officers spotted the 1992 Dodge Status with AT&T logos on the front doors at Eddy and Norwich avenues about 2:45 p.m. today.
A man robbed the Westamerica Bank branch at 536 Shaw Ave. Monday afternoon, police said.
The robber is described as Caucasian, 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall, stocky and 35 to 40 years old. He had a bleached blonde beard about an inch long, was wearing a black baseball hat, white collared shirt, black tie, black pants and black boots.
