Clovis Police made "several" arrests on suspicion of inappropriate sexual conduct at about 11 massage parlors in Clovis today after complaints from customers.
Customers told police they were solicited by massage parlor employees to have illegal sex, said Corp. Vince Weibert. Nearby business owners also complained of seeing suspicious activity.
About 25 officers from Clovis and Fresno police and other agencies conducted surprise inspections of the massage parlors from noon to 5 p.m. today, Weibert said. The investigation has been going on for several months and will continue, Weibert said.
Weibert said more information will be released this evening.
