Unattended candle destroys home in Huron duplex | The Fresno Bee

An early-morning fire at a duplex displaced a family of four in Huron on Tuesday, the Fresno County Fire Department reported.

Spokesman Jeremiah Wittwer said the cause of the blaze was a candle left unattended in a bedroom.

The fire spread into the attic of the structure, causing an estimated $120,000 in damage.
