Two neighboring Visalia homes were damaged after a fire broke out Wednesday evening on Wren Avenue.
The Visalia Fire Department responded to a call of a structure fire around 7 p.m. at 6601 W. Wren Ave. Firefighters found a second home with heavy smoke coming from the attic when they arrived.
Additional resources were called to make sure damage to the homes was limited. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Total damage to both houses was estimated at $350,000.
No injuries were reported. The fire department said the two families affected were able to find places to stay.
