The Saint Agnes Women’s Club was able to collect 17,000 diapers to give to children and families that are served at the Saint Agnes Holy Cross Center for Women during their annual diaper drive in May, said a spokeswoman with Saint Agnes Medical Center.
The children at St. Anthony’s Catholic School helped by collecting 11,636 diapers, and the Saint Agnes Child Development Center was able to collect 5,490 to contribute to the cause.
The center supplies about 7,000 diapers each month, according to the spokeswoman. She said since its inception, the Saint Agnes Women’s Club has collected 250,000 diapers to benefit the hundreds of women and their children served by the center.
