A ribbon-cutting ceremony debuting a new playground at the Mental Health Systems Hacienda Campus in Fresno will take place at 11 a.m. Dec. 10.
Grace’s Playground took two years to complete, a dream out of the mind of Grace, a 15-year-old University High School girl who saw a need and was able to meet it.
Grace, whose last name was not provided, raised nearly $200,000 to create a playground for the childcare center that serves 125 women and their children who live at the Hacienda Campus, as well as the hundreds of families who pass through and visit the center.
Donors include The Home Depot Foundation, East Fresno Rotary, CalViva Health, Isnardi Foundation, Rotary Club of North Fresno, Rotary Club of Fresno, Central California Women’s Conference, Fresno County Office of Education, Fig Garden Rotary and Keller Williams Realty.
The Mental Health Services Regional Office is located at 2550 W. Clinton Ave. in central Fresno.
