The third annual Yosemite Law Day Celebration will be held Friday from 10 a.m. to noon at Yosemite National Park.
Keynote speaker Laurie Levenson, professor at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, will discuss the concept of due process first recognized in the principles of the Magna Carta.
Eighth graders from nine elementary schools near the national park will attend the event with judges of federal and state courts, lawyers and dignitaries from surrounding counties.
The public is invited. Souvenir lapel pins will be distributed to the first 350 attendees.
