The Consulate of Mexico in Fresno and Centro Binacional para el Desarollo Indígena Oaxaqueño (Binational Center for Indigenous Oaxacan Development) are hosting immigration-related workshops in the Valley this month.
The information sessions will cover three topics:
• President Barack Obama’sexecutive actions on immigration
: What the community must know
•Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals
: First-time applicants and renewals
• Assembly Bill 60: Thenew driver’s licenses
Those interested in learning more can attend a session Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.at the Consulate of Mexico, 7435 N. Ingram Ave., Fresno. Another session will take place Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1125 N. Lake St., Madera.
