For its 16th year, Family HealthCare Network is offering Woodlake Health & Safety Fair from 5-9 p.m. May 1 at Miller Brown Park.
The fair includes free dental, vision and health screenings for adults and children. Blood pressure, hemoglobin and glucose screenings will be available. Additionally, fluoride varnish applications will be available for children up to age 5 and pregnant women. The evening also will include free food, raffles, live entertainment and the Coronation of the Woodlake Cinco de Mayo King & Queen.
Family HealthCare Network will have certified educators and certified enrollment counselors available to assist with any questions regarding the Affordable Care Act and enrollment into Covered California.
The fair is in partnership with the Tulare County Gang Prevention Task Force’s Step Up program. Other partners include the Woodlake police and fire departments, waste management, Woodlake Unified School District, Woodlake Lions Club and Woodlake Family Resource Center.
