A pickup struck a woman pushing a 1-month-old infant in a stroller Saturday morning in Visalia.
Visalia police said the woman, Jasmina Uson, 38, was severely injured and was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, where she remained in serious condition Saturday afternoon. The infant was not injured.
The driver of the 2013 GMC Sierra pickup, Donald Presser Jr., 56, was exiting a private parking lot around 10:30 a.m. on the 2400 block of West Caldwell Avenue when he struck Uson, who was trying to cross the driveway’s entry/exit. Presser was not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation and is being handled by the Visalia Police Department’s Traffic Unit.
