The Coldwell Banker building in Hanford cannot be occupied because a tow truck crashed into it, causing structural damage, police said Monday.
About 2:50 p.m. Saturday, the tow truck collided with the business at the corner of Florinda Street and 11th Avenue in Hanford. The driver, Sergio Gonzalez, 53, had been driving north on 11th Avenue when he veered off the road and hit the building, police said.
The truck went through the east corner of the building and came to rest sticking out the northeast corner. The driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
A city building inspector “red-tagged” the building due to structural damage.
