Three Valley residents have been appointed to the boards of the Big Fresno Fair and the Kings Fair, Gov. Jerry Brown’s office announced Tuesday.
Leta Ciavaglia, 61, of Sanger, and Jerry Pacheco, 70, of Kerman, were reappointed to the Big Fresno Fair Board of Directors.
Ciavaglia has served on the board since 2012 and is the president of the Penstar Group, a real estate development group. She is also the vice president of the Clovis High School Alumni Association and a member of the Clovis High School Scholarship Committee. She is a Republican.
Pacheco has served on the board since 2012 and is the president of Pacheco Dairy, Inc. since 1996. He owned Pacheco Farms from 1967 to 1996. He is a member of the Fresno County Farm Bureau, Nisei Farmers League, Sun-Maid Growers of California, Kerman Unified School District Ag Support Group and the Fresno State Bulldog Foundation. He is a Democrat.
Loretta Toledo, 61, of Hanford, was reappointed to the Kings Fair Board of Directors. Toledo has served on the board since 2005. She was an office worker at Stan Vierra Electric from 2004 to 2011 and an owner and partner at T and T Dairy from 1975 to 2004. She is a member of California Women for Agriculture, King Fair Boosters, Kings Junior Fair Board and Kings County 4-H. She is a Republican.
The positions are unpaid.
