Police arrested a Fresno man suspected of causing a collision while driving under the influence in northeast Fresno that left two dead and another in critical condition as of Sunday morning.
Hector Castillo-Pichardo, 23, was heading north on Friant Road in a silver truck about 9:20 p.m. Saturday when he collided with a white Acura SUV that was turning left on a green light off of East Copper River Drive, Lt. Joe Gomez said Sunday.
The driver of the SUV, a 23-year-old Fresno woman, died at the scene. She was identified Sunday as Molly Griffin of Fresno.
Four others were transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where a 32-year-old Fresno man riding in the truck died. He was identified as Oscar Felix of Fresno.

Another passenger in the SUV -- a 23-year-old Fresno woman -- underwent emergency surgery and remains in critical condition, Gomez said.
Castillo-Pichardo sustained minor injuries and was booked into Fresno County Jail on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and felony DUI.
